This privacy policy applies to the Notedrill app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Pixelgumstudio (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
- The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages
- The time spent on the Application
- The operating system you use on your mobile device
The Application also collects and processes content that you provide directly, including:
- Audio recordings you record or upload within the Application
- Video files you upload for transcription or note creation
- PDF files, documents, and images you upload or import
- Text content you enter manually
- YouTube video links you submit for note extraction
- Notes, quizzes, and flashcards you create within the Application
This content is processed using Artificial Intelligence technologies to deliver the Application's core features, including transcription, summarization, quiz generation, flashcard creation, and AI-powered chat functionality. Your content is processed solely for the purpose of providing these services to you and is not used for any other purpose.
AI Features and Data Processing
The Application uses Artificial Intelligence technologies to enhance user experience and provide core features including:
- Converting audio and video recordings to text
- Generating summaries, quizzes, and flashcards from your notes
- Enabling AI chat with your notes, PDFs, and documents
- Extracting and organizing content from uploaded files and images
All AI processing is performed in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable laws. AI-generated outputs including transcriptions, summaries, quizzes, and flashcards are delivered solely to you and are not shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the service. If you have questions about AI features or data processing, please contact the Service Provider.
Microphone and Media Access
The Application requests access to your device's microphone and media library solely to enable audio recording and file upload features. This access is used only when you actively initiate a recording or upload within the Application. The Service Provider does not access your microphone or media library in the background or for any purpose beyond delivering the Application's features.
Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

- With their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. This includes notes, recordings, transcriptions, quizzes, flashcards, and any other content you have created or uploaded within the Application. If you would like the Service Provider to delete your User Provided Data, please contact them at pixelgumstudio@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
Children
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be immediately deleted from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider at pixelgumstudio@gmail.com so that the necessary actions can be taken.
Security
The Service Provider is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information, including the notes, recordings, documents, and other content you process through the Application. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information it processes and maintains.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use of the Application is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider.
